“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” – Charles Dickens
There are few principles that are truer than the words of Mr. Dickens. When I made the decision to become an attorney, I was driven to help people who were unable to help themselves and inspire change in a situation that seemed too daunting to overcome. And the foundation of Albert Matthews is built on these words: lightening the burdens of our clients.
My name is Al Alguadich, and as a co-founding partner of Albert Matthews, I look forward to getting to know you better and learn of how I can help alleviate your burdens. While I am originally from New York City, I was raised in Southwest Florida and after attending Fort Myers High School, I attended the University of South Florida and enrolled in law school at Stetson University College of Law. Since I was fortunate to know the joys of being raised in our area, I try to enjoy the best that our community beaches have to offer, as well as bicycling and exploring various parks and nature preserves outside of office hours.
After passing the Florida Bar, I moved back to Southwest Florida to work in and contribute to the community that helped establish my foundations for respect, fairness and sense of community. After several years of private practice, I also worked with the esteemed firm of Edward Jones & Co., LLP, where I became a Financial Advisor with Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and worked with over 175 families to help them achieve their unique goals and aspirations. In fact, I continue to actively work with my most trusted clients as a Financial Advisor with OneFlorida, where I enjoy the freedom and flexibility to assist clients in both arenas.
My experiences have helped me grow and understand that there are skills and ideas that I can bring to my clients in helping them not only alleviate their burdens, but achieving some of their most important goals. After nearly a decade of working with people who have placed their trust in me to guide them in their journey, I have come to learn that becoming my client’s trusted advisor and counsel is an honor that is earned only after you have gained a person’s respect for your willingness to put their needs first. As a trusted advocate for my clients, both in the law and in financial advising, I look forward to earning your trust and serving you and your family.
